Contact Garage Door Houston
There are two ways to reach us, and they suit different situations. Use whichever matches yours.
If it is urgent, call
The phone is answered around the clock. If a door will not close, is stuck open, will not lift, or a commercial opening is not secure, a call gets you a real answer immediately — including an honest one about whether anyone can get to you tonight.
For quotes and planned work, email us
Email support@garagedoorhou.com and it goes straight to dispatch. Include the door size if you know it and a photograph if you have one, and you will usually get a better answer on the first reply.
What we cover
Houston and the surrounding metro — Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Cypress, Spring, Pearland, Tomball, Conroe, Baytown, Pasadena, Humble, Missouri City, Richmond, League City, Stafford, Bellaire, Jersey Village, Deer Park and La Porte, along with the Beltway 8 and Grand Parkway corridors.
If you are outside that area, call and ask. We would rather tell you honestly than take work we cannot get to promptly.
Residential
- Garage door repair — springs, cables, tracks, panels, doors off the track
- Emergency and after-hours repair — what counts as an emergency and what we can do tonight
- New door installation — materials, styles, sizing, HOA approval and permits
- Openers — repair, replacement and smart control
- Maintenance and tune-ups — including what you can safely check yourself
Commercial
- Commercial overhead and roll-up doors — the full commercial section
- Self-storage unit and drive-up doors — failure patterns and door-turn programmes
- Commercial door repair — scheduling around your operating hours
- Maintenance programmes — fewer emergencies, predictable spend
For a multi-door site, send a door schedule — count and sizes by type — rather than a description, and you will get a line-item quote instead of a range.
Before you call
A little preparation makes the visit faster and the quote sharper:
- The door size if you know it — opening width and height in inches
- What the door is doing — will not open, will not close, crooked, noisy, stuck partway
- Whether you heard a bang, which usually means a spring
- Whether the garage is attached and whether the house is currently secure
- A photograph of the door and the area above it
If the door is unsafe — hanging off a track, a cable unspooled, a door that has dropped on one side — keep people and vehicles clear of it and call rather than emailing.
How we handle your details
We use your name, phone and address to respond to this request and to carry out the work. We do not sell or share your details, and contacting us does not sign you up to anything. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we stop.
Common questions
What is the fastest way to reach you?
Call. The phone is answered around the clock, and for anything urgent — a door that will not close, a door stuck open, a commercial opening that is not secure — a call gets you a real answer immediately. Email works well for quotes and planned work, and every message is read.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
You can visit us at 10949 S Sam Houston Pkwy W, Suite B — that is our office and base, and it is the right place to come if you want to look at door options before deciding. What we do not run is a retail counter: doors are measured, quoted and installed at your property, because a door cannot be judged properly off the wall. If you would rather not travel, ask for samples to be brought to the estimate.
Which areas do you cover?
Houston and the surrounding metro, with regular work in Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Cypress, Spring, Pearland, Tomball, Stafford and the Beltway 8 corridor. If you are outside that, call and ask — we would rather tell you honestly than take a job we cannot get to promptly.
What should I have ready when I call?
Your address, what the door is doing, whether it is a single or double door, and whether the garage is attached and currently secure. A photograph of the door and the area above it helps more than anything else, and you can text or email one.
Can I get a quote without a site visit?
For straightforward repairs and standard door replacements, often yes — send the door size (opening width and height), a photograph, and what the door is doing. For anything involving a change of size, structural work, a high-lift conversion or a commercial opening, we will want to see it before quoting.
Do you handle commercial and multi-site work?
Yes, as a separate workstream with different scheduling. Self-storage, flex warehouse and multi-tenant buildings are quoted from a door schedule rather than a description, and work on occupied sites is usually scheduled outside your operating hours. Send the door count and sizes to get a line-item quote.
